Summary Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Test Technician to be a core technical leader within their manufacturing team. You'll be responsible for providing a high level of support by analyzing and resolving complex technical problems involving advanced circuit analysis and/or software.
Duties
Analyze and resolve complex test problems on assembled circuit boards.
Develop and implement effective testing methods using ATE and functional test processes.
Mentor and train manufacturing associates on advanced troubleshooting strategies.
Assist with test software and fixture development.
Provide design-for-testability support to external customers.
Requirements
5+ years of experience as an electronics technician, troubleshooting complex products and sub-assemblies.
Two-year degree in electronics or equivalent.
Extensive knowledge of circuit analysis techniques and electronic test equipment including SMT.
Advanced proficiency with computers including MS Suite & VLOOKUPs.
Familiarity with a computer language such as C#, C++, or LabView.
Basic understanding of HP3070 and Flying Probe operation (preferred).
Proven success in systematic team problem-solving and excellent communication skills.
Ability to demonstrate core competencies through the successful completion of Test Technician Exam.
Shift Monday - Friday - Day Schedule
Location Beaverton *public transit accessible*
Pay Up to $25/hr depending on experience
