Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis.

Develop a database structure that fits into the overall architecture of the system under development, making trade‑offs among data volumes, number of users, logical and physical distribution, response times, retention rules, security and domain controls.

Perform database administrative tasks such as granting people access to the DBE and ensuring correct permissions.

Coordinate changes with IBM Team and allocate workflow.

Pull reports using MySQL on the data (e.g., number of people who have entered data).

Qualifications

TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required, or five (5) years of additional database engineering experience may be substituted.

Mid‑Level DBE: minimum of 8 years of experience in DBE.

Senior‑Level DBE: minimum of 10 years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government.

Required Skills

Experience with Oracle Enterprise Edition 12C.

Use IBM Software EAFR for data analysis.

Ability to perform database administrative tasks and ensure correct permissions.

Experience with MySQL for reporting.

Salary & Perks

Mid‑Level Salary Range: $105,000 to $200,000.

Senior‑Level Salary Range: $168,000 to $240,000.
