The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects students with online Regents tutors nationally. As a tutor, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home. Pay Range
Base pay: $18.00/hr – $40.00/hr Benefits
Earn higher pay for each session with the same student—up to $40/hr. Get paid up to twice per week for fast, reliable compensation. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Tutor remotely using our purpose-built Live Learning Platform—no commuting required. Get matched with students best suited to your teaching style and expertise. AI-powered Tutor Copilot enhances your sessions with real-time support, lesson generation, and engagement features—saving prep time. We handle logistics—you just invoice for sessions, and we take care of paymentsli> Responsibilities
Deliver personalized instruction to individual students in 1-on-1 online tutoring.> Accept on-demand tutoring requests when available. Use the Live Learning Platform to conduct sessions, manage student records, and submit invoices. Qualifications
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in Regents and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Priority given to tutors with prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education. Application Notes
