JANITOR LEAD (FULL TIME)

Location:
3M Aberdeen – 610 North County Road 19, Aberdeen, SD 57401
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, full‑time; hours may vary.
Pay:
$20.00 – $21.00 per hour
Requirement:
Lead janitorial experience required.
Job Summary Performs administrative tasks, trains team members and oversees overall training activities for custodial associates. Acts as a resource for others due to extensive knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and heavy commercial cleaning equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct classroom and hands‑on training on customer service, safety, compliance and company policies.
Conduct one‑on‑one training as needed.
Update and provide training on use of janitorial equipment, PPE and chemical usage/safety.
Copy training materials and revise them as necessary; perform administrative tasks as requested.
Provide feedback on new associates during orientation; review trainee records to ensure successful compliance.
Recommend disciplinary action as appropriate to the training coordinator.
Perform monthly safety performance reviews to ensure compliance with OSHA, Risk Management and other applicable company, federal, state and local requirements and policies.
Perform walk‑through building inspections as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
