Compensation & Benefits $18.00 per hour, based on experience. The base salary is part of a competitive Total Rewards package that includes medical coverage, 401(k) matching, annual performance bonus, and paid time‑off earned according to local policy.

Responsibilities

Prepare, expedite, monitor, replenish, and transport meats, vegetables, soups, sauces, and other food items as indicated by production sheets.

Report to the Sous Chef at the start of each shift for daily specials or menu changes.

Arrange mise en place according posted instructions and menu requirements.

Communicate station needs, waste, and discrepancies with the immediate supervisor.

As directed by the supervisor, prepare and present menu items according to recipe specifications and presentation photos.

Assist in other areas of the kitchen as directed by the Sous Chef.

Interact with guests and coworkers in a professional, courteous manner.

Maintain a clean and sanitary work area at all times.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

One to two years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests, and to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.

Basic math skills.

Ability to identify problems, collect data, analyze, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions, including written and verbal.

Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Working events on the casino floor will require a non‑gaming credential.

Physical Demands

Walking 30% of the time.

Standing 70% of the time.

Bending and lifting 10% of the time.

Climbing up heights in excess of 10 feet.

Lifting or moving a maximum of 100 lbs.

Can see 20/20, color, and/or peripherally.

Work Environment

This is a smoking environment in guest areas and a non‑smoking area, with the exception of designated employee areas.

High noise level.
