Position Overview
Part‑time position.
Responsible for processing/stocking products according to Dairy/Frozen Standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service, unloading stock, and reloading salvage. Perform duties of frozen food clerk when assigned.
Qualifications
Personal Skills:
Exceptional interpersonal skills; willingness to receive training; teamwork.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, comprehend and write simple correspondence in English; present information to customers and associates who speak English only.
Mathematical Skills:
Add and subtract two‑digit numbers; perform calculations using U.S. money and weight units.
Reasoning Ability:
Apply commonsense to follow written or oral instructions; solve problems with a few concrete variables.
Certificates, Licenses & Registrations:
Complete Company training – new‑hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, product knowledge.
Physical Demands Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, taste or smell. Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel or crouch. Must lift and move up to 60 pounds, reach 6–72 inches. Vision requirements include close vision, color and depth perception.
Work Environment Cool environment, average temperature 34–36 °F. Frequently exposed to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. Occasionally exposed to extreme cold (–20 °F) in the freezer. Noise level moderate to loud.
