Job Summary We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumber II to join our Service Experts HVAC and Plumbing team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading plumbing projects, performing advanced installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations, exceptional problem‑solving abilities, and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead plumbing projects, including new installations, remodeling, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems.

Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan plumbing system layouts and installations.

Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for plumbing projects.

Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to discuss project requirements, timelines, and progress.

Supervise and provide guidance to junior plumbers and apprentices.

Clean up job sites and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.

Cut, thread, and bend pipes using advanced tools and techniques.

Weld, solder, or join pipes using approved methods.

Conduct thorough inspections of plumbing systems to identify and diagnose complex issues or defects.

Troubleshoot plumbing problems and provide effective solutions.

Coordinate with suppliers to procure plumbing materials and equipment.

Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.

Train and mentor junior plumbers, apprentices, and helpers.

Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulations.

Health & Safety Roles & Responsibilities

Report any unsafe acts, conditions and hazards to direct supervisor/manager immediately.

Report any contravention of legislation or company policy, procedure or program to direct supervisor/manager immediately.

Correct substandard acts or conditions within area of control.

Use and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as prescribed by company program(s) or procedure(s).

Never remove or render ineffective any safety guards, devices, or clothing prescribed to be in place or worn.

Comply with the general rules as prescribed by company program(s) procedure(s).

Operate devises or equipment as prescribed by company program(s) or procedure(s).

Participate in any safety initiatives, teams, or committees.

Report all injuries or incidents as prescribed by company program(s) or procedure(s) immediately.

Provide input on developing safety initiatives and plans to eliminate exposures that could cause accidents.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience as a Plumber I or 4+ years in a plumbing role.

Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.

Extensive experience in interpreting and analyzing blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and tools.

Exceptional problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Valid driver’s license.

Working Conditions

This position may involve physical labor and working in confined spaces or at heights.

Work may be performed indoors or outdoors, depending on the project.

Exposure to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity.

May be required to work in hazardous environments or with potentially dangerous materials.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and on‑call shifts as needed.
