Responsibilities
Accurately generate and manage invoices based on contracts, volumetric information, and utility/carrier parameters.
Enter billing and payment information into the accounting or billing system with a high level of accuracy.
Verify invoices for correctness, completeness, and adherence to company policies and contractual agreements.
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and billing‑related problems promptly.
Perform monthly billing reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately reflected.
Prepare and generate periodic billing reports for management and other departments as required.
Identify opportunities to streamline billing processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude.
Advanced computer literacy with the ability to adapt to new systems quickly.
Intermediate Excel skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to relate to customers, outside contacts, and associates.
Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and perform under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
