Job Description The Plumbing Install Mechanic provides installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and service of water heater systems for residential and/or commercial customers. The role requires maintaining strong customer relations and applying technical skills with knowledge of industry standards and government regulations.
Responsibilities
Perform heavy‑lifter work, including lifting/carrying objects 60–100 lbs.
Work in crawl spaces, rafters, attics, roofs, and confined spaces to install systems.
Climb ladders, work overhead, and manipulate tools.
Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, and pull frequently.
Qualifications
3+ years experience changing electric and gas water heaters.
Experience with tankless water heater installation is a plus.
Texas plumbing license (Tradesman, Journeyman or higher).
Basic plumbing capability and knowledge of local & national plumbing codes.
Valid driver’s license.
