Job Description
We are a respected and growing drilling firm. We are looking for a full‑time Mechanic to pursue a career with a company that treats you right. Typical work week Monday‑Friday, with flexibility required. Company provides a service truck for mobile repairs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain fleet of drill rigs and support equipment, including diesel trucks, drill rigs, tracked equipment, trailers, and support equipment.
Perform diagnostics and repairs on the above equipment.
Conduct DOT annual inspections and maintain required files.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area and shop space in compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations.
Adapt to changing priorities and remain flexible.
Requirements
Ability to drive standard and automatic transmissions with a clean driving record.
Reliable transportation and punctuality.
Regular attendance.
Excellent attitude, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Safe work habits and a mature safety mentality.
Willingness to work overtime, occasional weekends, and perform mobile repairs.
Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, squat, push/pull, reach, and climb unrestricted for prolonged periods.
Ability to lift 60 lbs occasionally with proper techniques.
Knowledge of gears and bearings.
Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
Knowledge of welding methods and ability to fabricate on occasion.
Knowledge of DOT FMCSA regulations.
Drug‑free business requiring DOT random drug and alcohol testing.
Pass periodic DOT physical exam and obtain DOT medical certificate.
Desired
3+ years of relevant experience repairing construction‑type equipment.
Experience with truck‑mounted drill rigs and wire rope.
CDL with DOT medical certificate.
Forklift and skid‑steer/loader maintenance and repair knowledge.
Compensation Minimum $30 per hour, or more depending on experience, with overtime after 8 hours per day and average 50+ hours per week. Overtime paid after 8 hours per day (other companies pay after 40). Top benefits plus automatic 3% 401(k) contribution. Paid vacation and holidays after first year. Direct deposit weekly.
Immediate Bonus
Commercial Driver License.
Proven experience working around drill rigs.
Wage negotiable depending on experience. Overtime and excellent benefits available.
