Overview
We’re hiring automotive technicians to accelerate careers in moving vans and box trucks at Budget Truck.
What You’ll Do Conduct essential repairs on a diverse range of vehicle brands and models, with minimal oversight.
Perform maintenance activities such as oil changes, lubrication, tire repairs, and warranty repairs as proficiency allows.
Support skilled mechanics on more intricate repair procedures.
Drive a Budget Truck on public access roads.

What We’re Looking For Valid Driver’s License Class A, B or C
At least 2 years of auto repair experience
1 ASE certificate (ability to acquire 2 additional ASE certificates within first year)
Knowledgeable in ASE certification program areas: Engine Repair, Drive Train/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, Engine Performance, and Light Vehicle/Diesel
Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate or loud noise levels
Must have a complete set of tools required for auto repair and maintenance
Basic computer skills including typing, data entry
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continuously and perform required mobility tasks
At least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
On-site requirement: regular presence cannot be remote
Must be able to obtain DOT medical clearance
Previous Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) experience preferred.
