Outside Machinist / Machinist Mates Needed
Up to $27.31/hr and $140 Per Diem.
Responsibilities
Install and align ship machinery, propulsion systems, and valves
Operate lathes, portable milling/drill machines, and cargo cranes
Perform valve overhauls, lube oil flushing, and hydrostatic testing
Conduct boiler tests, shafting, bearing work, and optical alignment
Read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings
Work Environment
Shipyard setting: indoors/outdoors, all weather conditions
Must be able to lift 40 lbs, climb, kneel, crawl, and work in confined spaces
Respirator fit test and physical exam required
Shift work based on production needs

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.73 - $27.31/hr.
