Qualifications/Certifications:
Drama Assistant - Technical Theatre Property, Hair, Makeup, and Costuming Design/Construction Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in fine art, theatre, or related field from a regionally accredited program/university-PREF Certification: No certification necessary. Experience: Minimum three (3) years documented experience working in theatrical performing arts, particularly for young audiences. Strong understanding of technical theatre design and production concerning property, hair, makeup, and costuming. Demonstrated leadership skills and the management of large groups of students. Passion for and commitment to creating high-quality theatrical experiences for young audiences/-REQUIRED. Replacements: N/A
Notes:
Rehearsals are held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30-5:30pm. Tech week rehearsals may also be needed in the evenings, as well as performance weekends. Availability must be open for these days and times in order to be considered.
