Responsibilities
Encompasses all Helper III Roles and Responsibilities as well as:
Demonstrates understanding of McCarthy Safety Guidelines and Procedures.
Comprehensive knowledge of multiple piping materials: Steel/Carbon, Copper, PVC/PCV, Poly, Stainless Steel, Aluminum.
Receives direct supervision and performs technical responsibilities.
Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities under established procedures.
Contributes to a team under general supervision of an experienced professional or manager.
Skilled specialist that demonstrates reliable judgment in resolving issues and making recommendations.
Promotes a positive learning environment in mentoring and directing apprentices.
Performs testing, inspecting, and recording.
Maintains all tools and equipment in serviceable condition.
Uses materials and other resources conservatively to promote project success and profitability.
Installs all systems and products per code, specifications, submittals, and contract documents.
Provides applicable input promptly to maintain current “As‑Built” record drawings.
