Job description
Lead BCBA
Staff behavior training: work with BCBAs/BCaBAs/RBTs on creating behavior in-services
Observation/Supervisory activities of all staff pursuing a degree in behavior (BCBA, BCaBA)
Competency assessments for RBTs; continued supervision of RBTs
Write up evaluations/treatment plans and create notebooks for new students in conjunction with Instructional Team Coordinator
Write initial Treatment Plans in conjunction with Instructional Team Coordinator treatment plans
Support with onboarding new staff regarding clinical practices.
Insurance phone calls (eg: for assist with authorization or re-authorization requiring BCBA semi-structed interview as required which is typically every six months from the initial assessment and treatment plan)
Train multi-disciplinary team on behavior analytic interventions for continuity of care.
Conduct behavior observations in conjunction with Instructional Team
Co-assess/evaluate with Instructional Team Coordinator with focus on behavioral observations (behavior reduction or skill acquisition).
Non-direct service: delegate the structure and the content of ABA pull out sessions for weekday program with the help of the instructional team leader; write BIP updates; coordinate behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and data forms; observe students as needed; behavioral consultations with the help of other behavior trained staff (RBT/BCBA BCaBA)
Monitor Motivity for progress
Create BIPs and monitor for efficacy
Meet with families as needed
