Job Qualifications Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English or Spanish, complete assignments in a timely manner, be self‑motivated, work with limited direction, pay attention to detail, and be willing to correct problems on the spot and differentiate cleaning chemicals.
Essential Job Functions
Perform daily cleaning duties including bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, pulling trash, dusting, and window washing while maintaining high quality.
Follow the set schedule for daily job functions.
Ensure facilities are cleaned properly according to established procedures and regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
Perform other job‑related duties as assigned and instructed by management.
Customer Service Expectations
Work cooperatively with all team members to achieve superior customer service.
Assist guests by answering questions and directing them to requested locations.
Take care and be courteous while cleaning around guests.
Physical Demands The work requires physical exertion including long periods of standing and walking, bending, twisting, lifting or carrying up to 60 pounds. May require dexterity, agility and climbing ladders.
Work Conditions Performed indoors in a climate‑controlled casino environment and outdoors in all climates. Exposure to noise, odors, fumes, dust, slippery surfaces, and chemical cleaning solutions. Frequent use of cleaning supplies and equipment. Use of safety glasses, gloves, apron, and slip‑resistant shoes (employee must provide). Exposure to secondhand smoke. Must be able to work 24‑hour/7‑day operations with varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
