Responsibilities
Feed cheese onto a state‑of‑the‑art production line for wrapping and packaging.
Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, SQF, and established safety rules and regulations.
Set up and operate scales to weigh product for packaging.
Pack cheese product into boxes, stack boxes on pallets, and inspect packages and boxes for proper seals, codes, and dates.
Utilize box‑erecting, case‑sealing, and labeling equipment.
Perform sanitation of the work area and equipment as needed.
Knowledge / Skills Required
Read and write English and perform basic math calculations.
Give and accept constructive criticism and work as part of a team.
Maintain a professional image with customers, peers, supervisors, and the public.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; education beyond high school is a plus. Prior manufacturing and/or packaging experience desirable.
Conditions Work inside a clean, air‑controlled manufacturing environment. Required to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift 25 pounds frequently and 45 pounds occasionally.
Core Hours
1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:00 pm. Saturday generally 6:00 am – 12:00 pm.
2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Saturday generally 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
3rd Shift: Monday – Friday, 10:00 pm – 6:00 am. Saturday hours as needed.
Employment Type Full‑time, entry level (Administrative in function, Government Administration industry).
