Hybrid## Job DescriptionTo provide efficient and effective clerical support for the Children & Families and Justice Social Work service. This is a part time role, working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.## ResponsibilitiesProvide clerical support for the Children & Families and Justice Social Work service. Undertake tasks and processes to support the work of the Children & Families and Criminal Justice Social Work service. Provide clerical support to the Children & Families Social Work Team. Participate in the Council's employee review and development programme.## The IndividualExperience in clerical work including figure work, data entry, word processing, record keeping and filingExperience of working in a busy office environment using relevant technology and equipment e.g. photocopier, email, Intra/Internet4 SQA National 5 grades or equivalent at level 3 or above including English and Maths/Arithmetic \*Recognised qualification for word processing, e.g. ECDL or equivalent \*Recognised qualification for spreadsheets, e.g. ECDL or equivalent \*High level of accuracy in workAbility to prioritise own workloadAbility to use initiative in day to day tasksAbility to participate as a team member § Effective written and oral communication skillsAbility to deliver a high level of customer careEffective organisational and time management skillsSelf confident and self motivatedAppreciation and acceptance of, and commitment to the importance of confidentiality Experience of operating software applications including Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to demonstrate good literacy and numeracy skills § Ability to identify and suggest improvementsFlexible and adaptableYou may need to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Moray to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
