1st Shift: Monday‑Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Overtime as business needs require
1st Shift Starting Pay: $18.00/hour
JOB PURPOSE Under general supervision, performs the material handling and warehouse functions required in receiving, processing, storing, moving, and shipping prime product at BCP facilities. Typically reports to a supervisor.
JOB DUTIES
Operating Compact Track Loaders (CTLs)
Move and store prime product from production line to storage
Safely move prime product after completing basic inspection to distribution center
Work in a highly structured environment, strictly adhering to provided standard work instructions
Read and understand source documents to verify serial numbers and shipping documents
Train others in Standard Work
Follow documented procedures and standard work to move machines to correct locations
Apply CPS principles such as 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea Reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work
Keep work area clean and orderly
Safely move prime product into confined areas and secure for transportation
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (with or without reasonable accommodation)
Frequent lifting and carrying of boxes up to 35 pounds for intervals of 15‑30 minutes
Work in tight spaces
Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures
Walk, squat, and bend over for intervals of 15‑30 minutes
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Possess a valid driver license
TOP CANDIDATES WILL ALSO HAVE
Caterpillar product knowledge (CTL)
Some experience operating heavy machinery, preferably CTL
