Summary **** Operates gas or electric truck in and between department building and yard areas. Collect and deliver a wide variety of materials and dies. Keeps designated work areas supplied with dies ready to set in hammers, piles and stacks materials and dies safely in designated areas. Sets up various types and sizes of drop hammers for standard runs and production parts in accordance with established methods and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:

Operates lift truck with manufacturing, aisles and yards.

Performs operations of transporting and positioning materials such as moving dies and storage area and loading hammers and flasks in

Requires ability to estimate load weight and balance, knowledge of proper loading and storage of raw, semi-finished and finished material.

Assists molder‑lead, molder‑kirk, die‑grinder, in the foundry.

Assembles set ups for lead and kirk dies. Pours lead and/or kirk in said set ups.

Sets up drop hammer for standard runs on production parts following proper procedures.

Aligns and secures punch and die to drop hammer head and bed.

Recognizes improper functioning of hammer and reports conditions to others.

Follow all Senior policies and procedure.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Degree or General Education Degree; or 3‑5 years of related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Annual Target Salary $47,840.00

Shift Time Monday – Friday 2nd Shift 3:30pm – 12:00am
