What You'll Do As a Truck Mechanic at Kerr Contractors, you will perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
Can you diagnose, repair and troubleshoot?
Class 8 Trucks
Diesel engines
Brake systems
Drive systems
Hydraulic systems
Electrical systems
What You'll Need
Must have a valid license and clean driving record
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
Must consent to background screening
Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills
Strong team player
Must have reliable transportation
Compensation & Benefits
Schedule is Monday—Fridays (with occasional Saturdays)
Hours: 6:00am to 4:30pm
Generous wage (dependent on your experience—REQUIRED at least 2-3 years of working on Class 8)
With this work schedule, you will earn overtime on top of your normal hourly wage (time and a half!)
