Where You'll Work: With over 45 plants across North America, the Owatonna, MN, USA plant is a part of our Dry Beverage division and specializes in agglomeration and/or coating of nutraceuticals and functional food ingredients in some of your favorite dietary supplements and drinks. What You'll Do: The Sanitation Technician works with the production team and is responsible for completing tasks from the Master Sanitation Program. He/she supports the Production Supervisor with food‑grade sanitation needs. Working 2nd shift (from 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM).

The primary duties include, but are not limited to:

Cleaning duties as set out on the master sanitation schedule for floors, drains, walls perimeter in the plant and warehouse meeting company, customer and government standards

Daily cleaning: i.e. tanks, pipes and equipment, (some CIP and COP) and filling room floor

Safe handling and documentation of chemicals used

Careful use of water so equipment is not damaged

Removal and emptying of production garbage and debris

Manual and/or electrical pallet jacks

Maintain all sanitation documents in accordance with plant quality and safety requirements

What You'll Need to Succeed:

High School graduate or equivalent required, eighteen (18) years or older

1 year of food or chemical manufacturing experience ideal

6 months of prior electric pallet jack operation and safety certification preferred

Ability to maintain a good attendance record and availability for overtime

Must be self‑motivated and conscientious

Ability to work well with a team or other coworkers

Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to solve mechanical problems

Ability to complete certification requirements

Use of MS products, Excel and SAP software preferred

What's in it for You: The pay rate for this position is

$21.50
