Maintenance Technician (Handyman) We’re seeking a field-based Maintenance Technician (Handyman) to support our offices across multiple locations. This hands‑on role is essential in ensuring our facilities are safe, clean, and operating efficiently. You’ll handle a variety of repair and maintenance tasks — from fixing minor plumbing issues to touching up paint — keeping every Diamond Braces location in excellent condition.

Essential Functions

Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks across multiple Diamond Braces offices (basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.)

Troubleshoot and resolve facility issues promptly to minimize downtime

Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns

Assemble, install, or relocate furniture, fixtures, and small equipment

Coordinate and oversee outside vendors or contractors for specialized repairs

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, materials used, and completed work

Ensure all work complies with safety, building, and health regulations

Travel daily to various Diamond Braces locations as assigned.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or facilities support

Strong working knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry

Ability to safely use hand and power tools

Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Flexibility to travel between multiple locations within the region

Dependable, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently

Background in healthcare, dental, or multi‑site facilities maintenance preferred

Basic HVAC or appliance repair knowledge a plus

Experience with work order tracking or maintenance scheduling systems

Must be proficient in English (Spanish & Russian a plus).

Proficient in standard office software & applications.

Strong computer and digital literacy skills.

Strong communication skills a must.
