Mechanical Maintenance Instructor / Oil & Gas What will your contribution be at Akkodis? Within our Energy division, you will be involved in a project related to the Oil & Gas sector and will be responsible for designing and delivering theoretical and practical training sessions aimed at apprentices, maintenance technicians, and operations teams. The role will train personnel in rotating equipment mechanical maintenance, diagnostic fault‑finding, repairs, reliability and asset integrity, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and productivity standards, as well as sector‑specific regulations.
Do you have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sector? You can join the Energy team and work on various projects while getting to know different realities.
About you Requirements to start your growth journey
5+ years of hands‑on experience in mechanical maintenance in Oil & Gas (onshore/offshore) with familiarity with rotating equipment, pumping systems, compressors, turbines and lubrication systems;
Prior experience as a trainer or instructor is preferable;
Solid knowledge of general mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, transmissions, lubrication systems, seals, motors and pumps; knowledge of diagnostics (vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography) and reading mechanical/electrical schematics;
Knowledge of Oil & Gas safety regulations (LOTO, PTW, permit‑to‑work) and relevant API standards (e.g., API 610, API 674/685, API 686, API 570 for piping and inspections) and other safety certifications (PSM/Process Safety);
Strong communication, organisational and classroom management skills;
Good knowledge of the English language.
