Job Summary
MUST LIVE IN THE DENVER METRO AREA
This position will require recording and verification of transactions, reconciling accounts, problem solving concerns with clients, consulting and preparing business accounts for outside accountants as needed. The ideal candidate will be a fast, intuitive learner able to implement our booking and client account software and integration into Quickbooks Online. This position will require initiative and to think like an entrepreneur, which will add value to the company and help the owner manage this side of the business.
Live within 30‑minute radius of Castle Rock, Preferred (not a requirement for the ideal candidate)
This position is remote; your own computer is a plus, but one can be provided, and you must be good at time management and handling distractions at home. Strong, dependable Wi‑Fi connection is mandatory. Answering client calls through a web‑based phone system will be required.
Hours: 15‑20 weekly. Possibility of increasing to 25‑30 hours in 6‑12 months. The number of weekdays are flexible but the majority must fall somewhere between 8 am‑5 pm, Monday‑Friday.
Pay: $22/hr.
Responsibilities
Ordering supplies
Answering client emails as appropriate
Answering client calls periodically if the manager and owner are unavailable
Periodic scheduling
Qualifications
Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
Must live in the Denver Metro area
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft applications, QuickBooks Online, and basic accounting systems
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
Flexible work from home options available.
Compensation: $22.00 per hour
