About the position
This position is Non‑appropriated Fund (NAF) and located at the Dyess Youth Center. It involves transporting children in a government vehicle. A valid state driver’s license, which must be obtained and maintained, and a good driving record may be required as a condition of employment.
Work Hours This position is considered Flex work, 0 hours up to 40 hours per week depending on mission needs and can be on call.
Pay Pay will be set based on experience, education, and/or certification.
Target Level: $20.80
Intermediate Level: $19.62
Entry Level: $18.62
Duties Transport children in a government vehicle.
Requirements
This position requires satisfactory completion of pre‑employment checks in accordance with Air Force and DoD policy, and a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation.
This position has been identified as a Test Designated Position (TDP). The incumbent must consent to pre‑employment and random drug testing.
This position has a physical lifting requirement that necessitates a favorable pre‑employment physical.
This position requires the incumbent to obtain, maintain, and provide evidence of current immunizations, including annual influenza vaccinations, and remain free of all communicable diseases.
This position requires the incumbent to complete assigned training, including Food Handlers certification, within a specified time from date of hire or assignment to position.
