Position Overview Responsible for safely loading outbound yogurt pallets, pulling and staging customer orders, and supporting warehouse and shipping operators using a stand‑up forklift. This role ensures accurate, timely, and food‑safe shipment of refrigerated dairy products while complying with all GMP, HACCP, SQF, and safety standards.
Full‑time opportunity. 10‑hour shift Wednesday through Saturday (06:00 AM to 04:30 PM). Up to $23 per hour, depending on knowledge, skill, and experience. Key Responsibilities
Operate a stand‑up forklift to load outbound pallets onto trailers in accordance with shipping schedules.
Pull, stage, and verify orders using pick lists, RF scanners, and SAP WMS instructions.
Confirm correct SKU, flavor, pack size, lot codes, and expiration dates prior to shipment.
Ensure pallets are properly wrapped, labeled, and temperature protected.
Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices to ensure compliance.
Scan pallets and record inventory movements accurately in SAP WMS.
Perform pre‑shift forklift inspections and report equipment or safety issues immediately.
Maintain clean and organized dock and staging areas to meet food safety requirements.
Follow all food safety, GMP, HACCP, SQF, and sanitation standards.
Communicate with warehouse, production, and quality teams regarding product availability and shipment issues.
Assist with other warehouse or shipping duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1 or more years of stand‑up forklift experience in a food manufacturing or cold‑storage environment.
Knowledge of food safety and cold‑chain handling strongly preferred.
Ability to read and follow shipping documents, labels, and lot/date codes.
Experience with RF and SAP preferred.
Knowledge of computer fundamentals and strong math skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to stand and operate equipment for extended periods.
Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs.
Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting.
Ability to work in cold and refrigerated environments (35–45 °F).
Ability to work around moving equipment and loading docks.
Must follow all safety policies, forklift certification requirements, and lock‑out/tag‑out procedures as applicable.
