Skilled Maintenance Technician

Description Summary: This position entails performing regular maintenance for assigned jobs, involving skills from two or more trades to maintain building and common area components and structures. Duties may involve carpentry, concrete, light electrical, light plumbing, painting, drywall, etc.
Skills and Abilities
3+ years of experience in at least 2 of the following trades: Framing, Concrete, Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, Painting, Welding, Drywall, Stucco, Masonry, Roofing.
Trade, OSHA, and Equipment Certifications are a plus but not required.
Valid driver’s license, no DUI or DWI in past five years.
Proficient with construction, power, and hand tools.
Has necessary tools to complete various job assignments.
Research and problem‑solving skills in construction and maintenance.
Knowledge of construction materials, applications, and tools.
Self‑starter; capable of working unsupervised.
Good communication skills.
Responsible for safety of site, team, and self.
Basic computer, software, smartphone, and tablet skills.
Transportation required; reliable, presentable, able to move materials and equipment to worksites.
Physical: lift 50 pounds, work at heights, endure extreme weather, climb, balance, stoop, kneel for prolonged periods.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform visual inspections of building components and site amenities, reporting hazardous and life‑safety concerns.
Lead teams on projects and repairs as directed.
Read technical data and manufacturing specifications; perform repairs and installations.
Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders or scopes of work.
Assist coworkers as directed by management.
Evaluate job sites to determine materials required.
Use best installation and application processes.
Procure and deliver materials for jobs.
Follow safety codes and conduct; maintain high‑level safety.
Perform clean, professional, up‑to‑code work.
Communicate field observations and job status to management.
Record all time and expenses in ProTec Connect Daily.
Salary Description $28–$34 per hour
