Join our client's team as a
Maintenance Technician
in
Vernon County, WI or Richland County, WI , supporting a food manufacturing. This multi-craft role covers mechanical, electrical, and controls maintenance to keep production, packaging, and utility systems running safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do
Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment including packaging, metal detection, case packing, and palletizing
Calibrate and document sensors and instrumentation critical to food safety compliance
Operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration and glycol cooling systems
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance using CMMS software
Coordinate with contractors and ensure compliance with safety protocols
What We're Looking For
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food/beverage or sanitary environments
Strong skills with PLCs, VFDs, instrumentation, 480 VAC power, pneumatics, hydraulics, and schematic reading
Relevant certifications such as Maintenance Management Certificate and Formal Electrical Apprenticeship
Preferred skills include ammonia refrigeration training, HAZMAT response, PLC/HMI fundamentals, sanitary welding, and First Aid/CPR/AED certification
Work environment includes onsite conditions with temperature variations, noise, chemicals, and pressurized systems
