Job Description The following general description applies to all hourly store team members. Please read the detailed information listed below.

Job Duties

Operate all equipment.

Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.

Prepare product.

Receive and process telephone orders.

Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.

Clean equipment approximately daily.

Training: orientation and training provided on the job.

Communication Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions / Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).

Must be able to make correct monetary change.

Strong verbal, written, and telephone skills.

Motor coordination for rapid and accurate movement of hands and fingers.

Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.

Work Conditions Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks; in‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F to 90°F+ in some areas; sudden temperature changes; fumes from food odors; exposure to cornmeal dust; cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler; hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Physical Demands Standing: most tasks are performed standing; walking over ceramic tile and linoleum; walking short distances for short durations.

Sitting: paperwork completed in the office at a desk or table.

Lifting: bulk product deliveries up to 50 lbs, including cases of ingredients and supplies. Items may be lifted from floor and stocked onto shelves up to 72" high.

Carrying: items up to 30 lbs moved from storage to front of store; trays of pizza dough (~12 lbs) handled in short distances.

Pushing/Pulling: trays on dollies up to 30" requiring up to 7.5 lbs of force.

Climbing: occasional stairs or ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance.

Bending: forward bending at the waist at pizza assembly station and front counter, unable to flex knees; duration 30‑45 seconds per instance.

Crouching/Squatting: occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.

Reaching: continuously up, down, forward up to 72" to operate oven controls, change prices, lift/lower objects to/from shelves; reaching down to scoop cornmeal or wash dishes.

Hand tasks: eye‑hand coordination essential; frequent use of hands; shaping dough; using pizza peel, rolling cutter, and pizza box assembly; grasping cans, phone, pizza cutter, etc.
