Summary:
The Raw Material Receipt Clerk is responsible for the receipt and sample process of inbound raw materials. The role is responsible for the timely processing of inbound raw material. The role reports to the warehouse manager and takes direction from the receiving lead.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs receipt and sampling procedure of all Raw Material receipts.
Cross‑functional with the ability to assist with the receipt of components and other receiving requirements.
Verify all paperwork and product information is accurate.
Work with purchasing team to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Complete and submit OSD form as necessary for any delivery discrepancies.
Enter receipt data into the system within 24 hours of delivery.
Label each incoming piece with quarantine label.
Locate products in appropriate areas using RFgun.
Maintain accurate and organized file of receipt / carrier paperwork.
Scan and save all paperwork into the appropriate server and directory.
Fax or e‑mail copies of receipt documents to customers upon request.
Maintain a neat, clean, organized work area.
Run Approval report daily and apply approval/reject labels as appropriate to designated items.
Participate in Cycle Count Program and Cycle Counts as requested.
Share responsibility with maintaining an accurate Inventory at all times.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of 6 months of experience working in a warehouse environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must read/write English.
Must be detail oriented.
Must work well with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Must have or be capable of obtaining a license for forklift and deep reach lift trucks.
