A Transportation Driver plays a vital role in ensuring residents safely reach off‑campus activities and appointments. The driver aids residents in boarding and disembarking, maintains a friendly and supportive demeanor, and keeps the vehicle clean and well‑maintained.

Responsibilities

Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, grocery stores, recreational activities, and other destinations as needed.

Assist residents with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey.

Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a friendly and supportive demeanor with residents at all times.

Maintain cleanliness and safety standards for the vehicle, including regular inspections and maintenance tasks.

Keep accurate records of transportation schedules, mileage, and any incidents or concerns that arise during transportation.

Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and staff to coordinate transportation needs and address any special requirements or concerns.

Qualifications

Minimum age of 18 years.

Valid South Carolina Commercial Driver’s License Class B with passenger endorsement.

Verified three‑year safe driving record.
