Job Description
Operates all equipment
Stocks ingredients from delivery area storage, work area, walk‑in cooler
Prepares product
Receives and processes telephone orders
Takes inventory and completes associated paperwork
Cleans equipment and facility approximately daily
Training: Orientation and training provided on the job
Communication Skills
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Essential Functions / Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between eye and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screenli>
Physical Tasks
Carries large cans weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces from workstation to storage shelves; occasionally carries 30‑pound pizza sauce from storage room to front of store; carries trays of pizza dough three at a time over short distances, weighing approx 12 pounds per tray
Pushing: moves trays on dollies; stack of trays on a dolly approx 24‑30 and requires 7.5 pounds to push; trays may also be pulled
Reaching: up, down, forward; reach above 72 occasionally to turn on/off oven controls, lift and lower objects to/from shelves; reach down to scoop cornmeal from plastic barrel, wash dishes; reach forward for topping ingredients, cleaning surfaces, answering phones
Hand tasks: eye‑hand coordination essential; frequent use of forearms, wrists; manipulating pizza peel, rolling cutter, cardboard pizza boxes; grasp cans, phone, pizza cutter and pizza peel, pizza boxes
