Position Summary A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and is responsible for opening and closing procedures.
Essential Functions
Management: Work effectively with store management and crews, supervise through assignment, direction and follow‑up of activities, and communicate between management and crews.
Customer Service: Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints; promote a positive shopping experience; handle all customer relations in accordance with company policy; maintain confidentiality.
Merchandise/Presentation: Price merchandise, stock shelves, execute displays and inventory for weekly, promotional and seasonal merchandise, and maintain off‑shelf merchandise.
Required Qualifications
Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
Advanced communication and supervision skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime, and respond to urgent issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a retail supervisor.
Education High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Hours & Pay Anticipated weekly hours: 29 hours. Time type: Part‑time. Pay range: $19.00 – $28.00 per hour.
