Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position for a Lead Carpenter, located in Buffalo, NY. The Lead Carpenter will oversee and execute carpentry tasks, including framing, finish carpentry, and other construction‑related responsibilities. This role involves working with a variety of power tools, hand tools, and materials to complete both rough and fine carpentry projects. The Lead Carpenter will also collaborate with team members, ensure quality control, and maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Carpentry, including both framing and finish carpentry techniques
Experience and skill in using Power Tools and Hand Tools effectively and safely
Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members
Familiarity with safety protocols and workplace best practices in construction
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
Previous experience as a Lead Carpenter or similar role is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in carpentry or construction is a plus
