What We’re Looking For
Valid driver’s license
A passion for cars and customer service
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to manage production and customer communication.
Diagnose malfunctions and perform required repair when authorized by the customer.
Conduct multi‑point inspections and make appropriate recommendations to ensure safety and reliability.
Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
Maintain an inventory of “special tools” not normally inventoried by the Service department.
Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory‑sponsored training classes.
Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
Success Metrics
Performance measured by achieving targeted production, sales, and Customer Satisfaction Index.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
2+ years experience as an automotive technician
Automotive technical training (varies based on store needs)
Attention to detail, organization, and follow‑up skills
Valid in‑state driver’s license with an acceptable, safe driving record.
