Schedule:
B Shift (night shift), 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, on a 3-3-2 rotating schedule (alternating workdays with every other weekend off).
Key Responsibilities
Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
Inspect and test raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using appropriate equipment (e.g., CMM)
Record, analyze, and graph test data, including basic statistical analysis
Review production, inspection, and quality records for accuracy and compliance
Conduct in-process visual inspections and retrieve parts for laboratory testing
Scan finished product and assist with inspection and calibration of test equipment
Conduct GMP and internal audits (e.g., ISO 9000, FSSC 22000) to assess compliance with regulatory and quality standards
Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 6S principles
Perform mechanical product testing and support root cause analysis efforts
Clearly communicate quality criteria and findings to production staff and supervisors
Document and distribute Quality Assurance shift reports
Support Research & Development in new product development and validation activities
Prepare test reports and draw appropriate conclusions based on results
Oversee Non‑Conforming material programs and recommend appropriate disposition
Initiate, document, and track corrective actions
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Experience may vary based on qualifications, skills, and level within the role
Ability to read and interpret customer drawings and specifications
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of quality control and production documentation
Working knowledge of quality inspection tools (scales, pi‑tape, calipers, gauges, etc.)
Working knowledge of GMP and basic sanitation procedures (FS facilities only)
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift and handle a minimum of 20 pounds repeatedly and up to 45 pounds occasionally
Work performed in a manufacturing environment that may be hot or cold and requires the use of PPE at all times (safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.)
