Electronics Technician
Job Description In this role, you will utilize a variety of test procedures, engineering drawings, and electrical schematics to test, troubleshoot, and repair integrated unit‑level assemblies and circuit board assemblies down to the component level. You will also support assembly processes for both unit subassembly and the final integration of unit‑level assemblies. This is an on‑site position located at our Headquarters in Oak Creek, WI. This is a 1st shift position (7a.m. – 3:30p.m.).
Responsibilities
Perform in‑circuit and functional tests and component‑level troubleshooting on complex circuit card assemblies.
Utilize mechanical skills to disassemble and reassemble products per drawings or other documents using common tools.
Assemble, test, and troubleshoot subassembly‑level components.
Integrate, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot complex end‑items.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in troubleshooting electronics and electrical components.
Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent military training.
Strong understanding of digital and analog circuitry and the ability to troubleshoot complex assemblies to the component level.
Ability to comprehend written work instructions, electronic and mechanical drawings, and schematics.
Capability to independently diagnose complex circuitry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.
Work Environment This position is based on‑site at our Headquarters in Oak Creek, WI, operating during 1st shift hours from 7a.m. to 3:30p.m. The role involves hands‑on work with circuit assemblies, requiring the use of common tools for disassembly and reassembly of products.
Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Creek, WI.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
