At WGU, our mission is to expand access to higher education—and that starts with a secure, professional campus experience. As a Front Desk Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for guests and employees, playing a vital role in both customer service and site security.

Salary Range Grade: Services 205

Pay Range: $20.33 - $29.51

What You’ll Do

Greet and assist all visitors, vendors, and employees in a courteous, professional manner

Manage front desk operations, including visitor screening, badge issuance, and access control

Support security processes such as incident reporting, lost-and-found management, and emergency response

Coordinate with facilities, security, and building management teams regarding access and safety needs

Maintain confidentiality, data protection standards, and accurate visitor logs

What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative or security training is a plus

3+ years of front desk, receptionist, hospitality, or customer service experience

Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Bonus if you have

Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms

Familiarity with customer service best practices and emergency procedures

Experience with electronic badge access systems, and visitor management software

Experience in building management systems or corporate security environments

Work Location This is a full-time, in‑office position at WGU’s headquarters in Salt Lake City, UT. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to safety, service, and operational excellence.
