Job Description
Conducts oncology distress screenings and psychosocial assessments to evaluate the full impact of cancer on patients and caregivers.
Develops and implements treatment plans with patients and caregivers to enhance psychosocial functioning during and after cancer treatment.
Provides individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, and therapeutic support groups specific to oncology.
Assesses patients' and caregivers' understanding of diagnosis and treatment needs, and facilitate adherence to treatment recommendations.
Evaluates patients' functional, emotional, and psychiatric status, providing clinical interventions and referrals to mental health treatment as needed.
Qualifications Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Oncology Social Work Certification (OSW-C) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range $52,038.30 - $96,798.19
