“A Day in the Life” As a Service Technician you will maintain modular equipment in the field at customer sites. You will perform problem solving maintenance for but not limited to mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. You will also perform routine maintenance and construction in the field of modular buildings. Update and record information on company assets and systems. Perform routine evaluations of work to be performed. Safely operate Company provided vehicle (

“What You’ll Do”

Perform troubleshooting, maintenance service, repairs and construction in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling and electrical in the field

Perform maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems

Install new HVAC units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines

Responsible for the safety, quality and productivity of themselves at all customer locations

Responsible for positive interface with the customer and ensuring the company’s reputation is improved with every customer contact

Maintain inspection log(s) for equipment / vehicle and properly report exceptions; ensure equipment is maintained to Company and safety standards

Ability to safely perform all tasks and understand Company’s safety policies and procedures

Deliver a high quality output consistent with the Company’s construction standards

Operate Company vehicle with GPS and cameras

Able to read and understand blueprints, schematics, procedures and Company specific work orders, work instructions and floor plans provided

Able to work outside in variable weather conditions

Ability to use both manual and power tools and follow operating guidelines

Perform other duties as assigned

“Must Haves”

At least 1 year of prior experience in construction, maintenance or related work

Ability to communicate with Customer’s regarding work status and service concerns

Must be able to do local travel daily in Company Truck

May be required to drive extended distances to customer sites in Company truck

Able to do occasional overnight travel to jobsites out of state

TWIC card or ability to get one

Valid driver’s license.

"Nice to Haves"

EPA universal certification combined with HVAC experience

Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

Special Considerations :

Position requires manual dexterity and the ability to maintain physical activity for most of the day

Able to carry, bend, stoop, turn, kneel, crawl, climb a ladder and other manual labor activities

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and hold or lift a variety of objects
