Summary of Primary Responsibilities As a member of the Servicing team, the Loan Servicing Assistant will report directly to the Manager, Loan Servicing.

This position will have exposure to the entire servicing process and will be a great opportunity to learn and take on new responsibilities over time. We seek someone who is intellectually curious, holds themselves to high standards, and can thrive in a high‑achieving, fast‑paced culture.

Responsibilities

Update Salesforce with loan information and tracking.

Assist with Loan Servicing by inputting new loans into the servicing software, processing payments, creating statements, and following up with borrowers on late payments as needed.

Must pass the notary exam within the first ninety days of employment.

Electronically deposit checks and book into the servicing software.

Monitor insurance expiration dates and renewals and work with our third‑party point of contact to ensure all properties are properly insured.

Assist with drafting and recording reconveyance documents.

File and scan real estate loan documents.

Provide support to other team members as needed.

Adhere to all applicable compliance and private lending regulations.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

BA/BS degree preferred.

Previous mortgage or real estate experience required (2+ years).

2+ years of relevant professional office experience required.

Excellent verbal and written skills, collaborative in nature.

Exceptional interpersonal skills, operating with unquestioned integrity.

Strong problem solver, focusing on appropriate outcomes for the business, clients, and investors.

Detail oriented, and highly organized.

Strong Microsoft Office and Salesforce skills.

Compensation This position is a hybrid position, requiring two days on‑site and is classified as full‑time, non‑exempt full time, with our salary range being: $27.00 – $37.00 per hour, plus discretionary bonus potential.
