WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU As a CNC Machinist, you set up, program, and operate CNC machines with expert precision, ensuring components meet technical specifications. Each day, you configure machines, load materials, and oversee machining processes while modifying programs for optimal performance. You inspect finished parts with micrometers and calipers, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance—all while maintaining safety standards. You’ll bring strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to make your own tools, and know-how to run horizontal and/or VTL lathes, mentoring others and consistently meeting tight tolerances.

Strong troubleshooting skills

Ability to identify non‑conforming parts

Ability to make your own tools (example: chuck jaws or fixtures) specific to your jobs

Ability to work cooperatively with your supervisor

Ability to consistently work to tight tolerances

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Ability to meet productivity requirements

Ability to communicate and counsel other operators in the department

Ability to set up and run mills and horizontal and/or VTL lathes; programming is a plus!
