Core Responsibilities
Set up and operate multi-process equipment: lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
Decode blueprints and specifications to plan setups, tooling, and machining sequences.
Fine-tune machine settings and offsets to ensure consistent, high‑quality output.
Perform routine maintenance and first‑level troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Verify work using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools.
Collaborate across the team to enhance methods, reduce waste, and boost throughput.
Maintain workplace organization and adhere to all safety procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; machining certification or trade training is advantageous.
Demonstrated experience as a Machinist or in similar precision manufacturing work.
Proficiency on CNC and manual machinery.
Strong command of machining principles, tooling selection, feeds/speeds, and process flow.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation accurately.
Keen attention to detail and effective troubleshooting skills.
Clear communicator and dependable teammate.
Open to flexible scheduling when required.
