Get to Know Your Team:
UT Health Athens is a 127‑bed facility, including a 24‑hour ED, designated as a Level IV trauma center and acute stroke ready facility; advanced diagnostic technology; 10‑bed ICU; maternity unit radiation therapy center; and a stand‑alone ED in Gun Barrel City.
Responsibilities
Assists skilled maintenance workers.
May perform simple repairs on electrical equipment and machinery or minor repairs to the facilities including painting, plastering, carpentry and plumbing.
Effectively communicates with personnel of other departments, medical staff, patients and co‑employees while performing duties and with suppliers to purchase materials.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1 year of general maintenance or building maintenance experience.
