Automotive Lube Technician – Horne Mazda, Tempe, AZ
Job Description: The Lube Technician is expected to protect the dealership’s interests, perform lube, oil, filter and multipoint service, teach peers, and improve business operations and customer service.
Primary Duties
Ensure maximum productivity, customer service and cost control by performing all lube, oil, filter and multi‑point inspection processes, assessing supplemental vehicle needs, maintaining quality and notifying management of substandard practices, keeping vehicles clean, achieving customer satisfaction, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and performing all job duties requested by management.
Operate with integrity by demanding the highest ethical standards, setting a positive example with a neat, orderly, safe work environment, and demonstrating outstanding attendance.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (recommended but not required).
One year experience as a technician’s assistant or apprentice.
Valid driver’s license and MVR meeting company policy.
Local state inspection license preferred.
Physical Requirements
Work performed in a shop setting.
Exposure to weather, noise, dust, odors, fumes, chemicals, adhesives.
Must lift up to 100 lbs.
Required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, use hands, handle or operate tools and equipment.
Occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch.
Vision requirements: close, distance, peripheral, focus adjustment.
Must operate equipment and move vehicles safely.
