Essential Job Functions
Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas.
Respond to the FSMS, report problems for corrective actions.
Perform and complete repair maintenance, preventive maintenance and line changeovers.
Diagnose machinery malfunctions (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, & pneumatic).
Maintain production supporting equipment (glycol, RO, compressed air, lubrication, chemical distribution).
Use innovative thinking to minimize downtime, assure food safety and product quality.
Document work orders and record part numbers for inventory.
Communicate effectively shift-to-shift and with production during downtime.
Assist in training other maintenance personnel.
Collaborate with adjacent teams to resolve issues quickly and drive improvement.
Required Skills
Knowledge of GMPs, food safety requirements.
Ability to read and work with machinery blueprints and parts manuals.
Work independently.
Problem solving and decision‑making.
Hold forklift certification.
Competencies

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years previous maintenance experience in manufacturing (preferred).
Working Conditions
Work schedule includes weekdays, weekends, afternoon, evening, and overnight; overtime scheduled as needed.
Fast‑paced production plant with many moving parts and noise; hearing protection required.
Travel Requirements
May require minimal travel for training.
