Service Technician / Advisor – Trek Bicycle
Job Location: Trek Store Springfield, West Springfield, VA
Summary As a Trek Service Technician/Advisor, no one day is the same. You will care for bikes so their owners love riding them, troubleshoot repairs, service all kinds of bikes on the spot, and install the awesome accessories customers select for their new bike. You’ll also be the first to have your hands on brand new models before they hit the sales floor. Most importantly, you’ll build relationships with people who trust you to keep their gear running flawlessly. This role closely supports the Service Manager and, when the Service Manager is not available, you are the face of the department to customers.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair various bicycle issues on the spot.
Install accessories and new products for customers.
Act as the primary customer service point when the Service Manager is unavailable.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Keep up to date with newest bicycle service methods and technologies.
Qualifications
Self‑motivation and a positive, team‑focused mentality.
Fantastic hospitality – warm, approachable manner, great listening skills, and a drive to help in any way you can.
Top‑notch communication skills.
Impressive attention to detail and a love for tinkering until you figure it out.
Eagerness to learn the ins and outs of servicing bicycles.
A desire to continually learn proper service methods and new technologies.
Compensation Hourly Rate: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour.
