General Service Technician / Mechanic

Salary:
up to $50,000 annually; 4‑day work week, weekends off
Job Overview We are looking for energetic, upbeat technicians who are passionate about solving tough problems and delivering a positive customer experience. You will work as part of a team in a highly available 4‑day work week, providing general service repair, maintenance, inspections, and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general service maintenance and repairs (oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, suspension alignments, etc.)
Conduct state‑mandated vehicle emission and safety inspections in compliance with regulations.
Work collaboratively to troubleshoot guest concerns and communicate status and damages.
Complete accurate courtesy vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance reports.
Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA requirements.
Assist in housekeeping and maintain a clean, organized shop environment.
Support the service department in effective communication of vehicle conditions.
Promote our standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
Qualifications
Current valid driver’s license.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; entry‑level position.
Physical Requirements
Occasionally lift or move over 50 lbs.
Work with hand tools on vehicles overhead or in tight spaces.
Walk or stand for the majority of the workday.
Drive manual transmission vehicles.Maintain a brisk pace in a high‑volume environment.
Navigate a computer effectively.
