The Office of the District Attorney for the 13th Judicial District is seeking a qualified and motivated Legal Assistant to support prosecutors in a fast‑paced legal environment. Responsibilities
Assisting prosecutors with case management and court calendars Drafting legal documents and correspondence Maintaining electronic case files and docketing systems Managing court dates and deadlines Performing general office and administrative duties Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred, but not required Prior experience as a legal assistant or paralegal is required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Proficiency in personal computing and office software Experience with case or document management systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion Strong organizational skills and attention to detail A desire to serve the public with professionalism and excellence Physical Demands & Work Environment
Office environment with routine physical demands associated with administrative and clerical work. Special Requirements/Prohibitions
